Before we go any further, thank you for checking in.

And I mean that sincerely. Here's why.

This is what matters to me more than you'll probably ever know. This is not a sales page. It’s me standing in the open, saying plainly what I’m trying to build, and hoping that if it speaks to you, you might stand with me. Not buy from me, stand with me.

Think about that for a second. That’s not nothing.

The truth is, Author Fight Club isn’t finished; it's very close, but not quite there. It’s being built carefully, deliberately, and without shortcuts. That’s why this moment is so important. This is not about you buying something. It’s about you deciding whether this should exist at all. And if you think it should, there’s a place for you.

I'm going to assume you've watched the three introductory videos. At the very least, I hope you've watched enough to understand why I built Author Fight Club, why Regression Pricing Theory exists, and why I've spent an absurd amount of time engineering a subscription model that doesn't eventually turn around and bite the people it was built to serve.

If you haven't watched them yet, there's no harm, but they do give the bigger picture. Go back and watch them when you're ready. This page will make more sense once you understand the problem I'm trying to solve, and why I'm stubborn enough to try.

Now, to my point.

I must be a sucker for punishment, because all I seem to want to do is disrupt greedy industries.

I became an author by sheer happenstance, born from a nasty turn of events that stomped on my 13-year dream of becoming a playwright.

And I became a platform developer and founder because I became an author.

How did that happen? I was swallowed up by the greed of this industry. One that is designed to extract money from passionate creative writers before they have ever earned a cent from their work.

That's why Author Fight Club exists.

I believe in this product.

I believe it can shake up an industry built to extract from authors.

But I'm going to be honest with you, because this is not the place for fog.

Right now, I'm afraid this platform may never see the light of day.

Not because it doesn't work. It does.

Not because the idea isn't sound. It is.

The truth: I can't keep carrying the entire thing alone.

That's why you're reading this. Author Fight Club needs people.

So let me cut to the chase.

This is what I need.

1. Beta Testers: The Forge

I'm looking for people with the time, energy and expertise to help me carry Author Fight Club across the line.

Forge members will receive access to two separate accounts.

One will be a dedicated testing account. The other will be your personal Author Fight Club account.

The testing account will be closed once beta is complete.

Your personal account will be free because a Forge seat is a working seat. It comes with a job: show up when you can, test the platform honestly, challenge what needs challenging, and help me make it ready for the people who come after you.

Your participation will be discussed clearly before you accept a seat.

There will be no mystery threshold, no invisible scorecard and no surprise decision made behind your back.

It will be a “roll up your sleeves when you have time” arrangement, but I will expect regular participation.

If you stop contributing during beta, the free personal account may be withdrawn or converted to a paid subscription post-launch. Whether you remain as a paid member will be entirely your choice.

But once beta is complete, Author Fight Club has launched publicly and you have helped carry it across that line, your personal membership will be yours free of charge for the life of the platform, subject only to the ordinary good-standing rules that apply to everyone, including fraud, abuse or a serious breach of the platform's terms.

You will have earned it.

It will never be taken from you simply because the platform grows or because the arrangement later becomes inconvenient for me.

There are up to 15 Forge seats, and you may choose to sit in more than one seat. If you have the requisite acumen, then great.

Once those seats are filled, there are no more.

There is more detail on the Forge EOI page below, but in essence, I'm looking for a deliberate mix of people, including:

  • An applied-mathematics specialist capable of properly reviewing and independently validating the Regression Pricing Theory formula.
  • Fiction, non-fiction, self-published, aspiring and genre authors who can test the platform from different angles.
  • A screenwriter, playwright or someone with real industry experience in either form, to test the Manuscript Engine in screenplay mode.
  • A technically capable author who understands both the technology and the creative process.
  • Three developers, preferably with a keen interest in writing or self-publishing, willing to contribute on an ad-hoc, part-time basis when they have the capacity.
  • Two authors of any stripe with genuine marketing or social-media expertise who are willing to help me do the part I openly despise and am, I freely admit, completely shite at.

If you're still deciding and would like to explore the demo before applying, ask me in the chat. I can arrange access after we've had a conversation about it.

A Forge seat is a non-paid, part-time, ad-hoc commitment.

The reciprocal right is your personal lifetime membership once you have helped complete the work.

No corporate euphemisms. No imaginary exposure dollars. No pretending your time has no value.

A clear exchange between adults.

2. Founding Members: The Vanguard

Regression Pricing Theory cannot come alive in a vacuum.

A pricing formula with nobody standing on it is just a rule sitting on paper.

It needs subscribers to put real weight on the curve.

Once Forge beta testing is complete, I will open up to 85 Vanguard seats.

The Vanguard is the first paid weight on the curve.

Fifteen Forge members and eighty-five Vanguard members would place one hundred people at the foundation of Author Fight Club.

That number is deliberate.

One hundred people is the largest founding group I believe I can personally support as a one-man operation, both as we prepare for public launch and if the worst-case scenario ever comes to pass.

Think of it as continuity insurance. We build our lives around software, and sometimes that software disappears. The Vanguard is designed to make that far less likely here. Together, we help keep the lights on in the dimmest of times.

Imagine that. It would be like your local supermarket crashing and the owners saying, “We can no longer trade viably, but we’re going to keep the doors open for our first 100 customers ever.”

But I want to be completely honest about the eighty-five Vanguard places.

It is a target, not a turnstile.

If all eighty-five seats fill, wonderful.

If fewer people join, we move forward with whoever is standing on the curve.

Nobody's arrival is held hostage to somebody else's.

Now let me be plain about the money, because this is where most platforms begin lying, and I will not.

When Vanguard opens, membership is:

USD $17 per month

Your first payment is taken when you join.

This is not a pledge and it is not a saved-card reservation.

You become a paying founding member immediately.

You receive your own genuine Author Fight Club account with full access from day one.

Your payment details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor.

They are handled by Stripe, not by me, not by Author Fight Club, and certainly not by some back-room spreadsheet.

I never see them.

I never store them.

Let me break it down a little further.

Early rigorous testing suggests we will launch publicly at a ceiling price of around USD $25, give or take. Your Vanguard price is a reward for your commitment.

This is how it's going to work...

The Regression Pricing Theory formula will be proved using real-time usage metrics from Vanguard members. As I stated earlier, the formula needs subscribers to kick-start the mechanism, and I would rather use real data than any amount of forecast data, for everyone's sake. It is simply a more pragmatic approach.

When RPT is proved, made immutable and registered on a public ledger for all to see, we launch publicly together at whatever ceiling price RPT determines.

Then, while the RPT-regulated live price remains above USD $17, your Vanguard subscription remains at USD $17 per month.

When the live price eventually falls below your USD $17 entry threshold, you move onto the live price and ride the curve with everyone else from that point forward.

From there, as the live price moves, you move with it.

But here's the real payoff.

When the live price finally reaches the floor price etched in stone by RPT at launch, your Vanguard invoice drops to:

$0.00

You will still receive an invoice each month.

That invoice will read:

$0.00

I want it to keep arriving because I want the promise to remain visible.

I want you to see the system working.

No private discount dial. No discretionary founder override. No future version of me gets to rewrite the deal because it becomes inconvenient.

Regression Pricing Theory will be public, immutable and designed to govern the price by structure, not goodwill.

If the RPT-regulated live price later rises above the floor, you ride it back up with everyone else.

When it returns to the floor, your Vanguard invoice returns to $0.00.

That's the cycle.

If the storm ever comes, together, we keep the lights on.

When the curve recovers, the platform honours the people who helped lift it into existence.

3. Early Adopters

As Author Fight Club moves through the final lead-up to public launch, the Early Adopter doors will open.

If you want to get in before the dust has completely settled, this is your way in.

Join as an Early Adopter and you receive your own genuine Author Fight Club account with full access from day one.

You join at the live RPT-regulated price.

But if you join during the Founding Early Adopter period, you'll receive:

15% off your first three monthly invoices.

Whatever the live RPT-regulated price is for each of those first three billing cycles, your 15% Early Adopter discount is applied to it.

If the live price moves during those three months, your price moves with it.

After your third discounted invoice, the incentive ends and you simply continue at the live RPT-regulated price with everyone else.

The offer continues across public launch and expires on 31 December 2026.

So you are not locking yourself into a special Early Adopter price.

You are stepping onto the same pricing curve as everyone else, just earlier, with a little thank-you from me for helping Author Fight Club make the jump from nearly there to properly alive.

You're early.

That deserves something.

A Few Pricing Things Worth Noting

Current modelling suggests that, after public launch, the live Author Fight Club subscription price will move within a projected range of roughly USD $6 to USD $25 per month., driven only by subscriber numbers.

Once again, those numbers are still projections. They are not yet final.

The live price will rise and fall with subscriber numbers, and subscriber numbers alone. Regression Pricing Theory governs that movement, not some executive waking up one morning, noticing you still haven’t cancelled, and deciding your loyalty probably has another $1.99 a month left in it.

Before public launch, the RPT formula will be reviewed, challenged and independently validated as part of Forge testing, particularly by the applied-mathematics specialist.

Once that work is complete, the final price range, including the launch price, will be published to a public ledger for all to see.

From that point forward, the RPT formula governs the price.

Not me.

A Few Other Things Worth Noting

The Fight Engine inside Author Fight Club is not a toy.

The Fight Engine at its core is a serious writing environment built around the entire life cycle of a manuscript. You write it here, develop it here, revise it here, prepare it for submission or publication here, and take it all the way to a finished product without needing to leave Author Fight Club.

Its Manuscript Engine handles that work from first words to final manuscript. It supports industry-standard formatting, tolerates some fringe properties with warnings, and flags anything outside those bounds as non-compliant.

Around that sits a fully customisable work console for the rest of the writing life: other creative and administrative pipelines, timers, idea capture features, prompt management, AI assistance, character development, social-media drafting tools and the other strange bits of machinery writers somehow accumulate when one book turns into an obsession.

Then there is the community side.

The Lounge gives members somewhere to meet, talk, work together and help each other grow through video and audio conferencing, and chat.

The Library is where your manuscripts live. You can keep them private, share them with selected members, hold conversations inside the manuscript itself, or open work to the wider community if you choose.

The Classroom is there for the part nobody warns you about properly: learning the platform, learning the industry, and figuring out what the hell really happens after “The End.”

AI is part of Author Fight Club too, but it is there to assist the work, not replace the writer.

The platform already supports AI-assisted editorial work, including chapter-by-chapter editorial passes across an entire manuscript, and BYOK if you prefer to connect your own AI provider.

But the next major ambition is Mickey Scholar, Author Fight Club's own private AI language model.

Mickey is still a dream in my mind, not a launch promise.

Everything else I’ve just mentioned is already built and working. It's simply waiting for people brave enough to come in and start throwing knives at it.

One Last Thing

I'm not some mythical cyber ghost floating behind the machinery.

I'm a real person.

I'm an author.

I'm also the idiot who decided to build this entire platform himself because apparently finishing a book was not enough punishment for one lifetime.

And I'm monitoring that chat over there. 👉🏼

Not a bot.

Not a support department.

Not a carefully sanitised FAQ pretending to have a pulse.

Me.

If something is unclear, ask me.

If the Vanguard offer feels uncertain, ask me.

If one of the membership paths sounds right but you need to understand the details before committing, ask me.

I would rather have an honest conversation now than have anyone join Author Fight Club under a misunderstanding.

I'm not knowingly hiding anything from you.

Nothing is off the table for discussion.

This platform was built out of the sheer frustration of writing a novel, trying to get it seen, and almost being swallowed up by the system. Sound familiar?

This is not some cute little side project.

It is a genuine fight to disrupt an industry that has become far too comfortable profiting from the people doing the creative work.

If any of that moves you, even a little, choose the path below that fits you best.

Only genuine participants, please.

Is this is a leap of faith? Yes, a small one.

Then again, isn't every book worth writing?
